The Rigel Quilt is named for the largest star in the Orion constellation which fits as this block is a whopping 20" finished.

Rigel offers four sizes (crib, small and large throw, bed) and is written to for fat quarters, half yards and yardage. The measurements for fabric cuts are exact measurements without extra worked in. It is recommended to order an extra eighth of a yard for those just in case cuts.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Skills Include: Flying geese, half square triangles, consistent 1/4" seam allowances.

Pattern assumes that the quilter has basic piecing and quilting knowledge.

Care instructions

All Quilts should be washed on a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent. If the quilt is unwashed prior to shipping be sure to use a color catcher to ensure the colors do not run. Quilts can be dried in the dryer with a low heat or laid flat to air dry. Some shrinkage may occur and this is normal due to the nature of the cotton fabric and batting.
